The interesting town of Bozen, or Bolzano as the Italians call it, in the South Tyrol region of Italy, is either at the start or finish (whichever direction one is going), of the Strada di Vino, the Wine Road. Travelling from Trento to Bolzano visitors not only enjoy the beautiful countryside but can also tour the vineyards along this Strada di Vino (or the German version - Sudtiroler Weinstrasse - South Tyrol Wine Street).Most of the owners of the vineyards near the town of Bozen in South Tyrol, Italy, will welcome tourists to taste their wine, and some even have rooms that not only have wine-tasting facilities, but will also serve a meal for a reasonable cost.
