As night begins to settle in around the City of Sevilla in the Province of Sevilla in Andalusia, Spain, the bright lights on the Puente de Isabel II bridge leave yellow reflections across the surface of the Guadalquivir River. The sky still displays a pinkish hue after the sun has disappeared for the day leaving the City of Sevilla surrounded by calming colours.
The Puente de Isabel II bridge was built in 1852 out of iron in a modern Art Nouveau style. The bridge seems to gracefully span the river due to the architectural design of the Puente de Isabel II adding an elegance to the city. This makes tourists fall in love with the City of Sevilla especially when the night lights shine and the Guadalquivir River shows its peacefulness.
In Andalusia, the Guadalquivir River is the longest but ranks as the fifth longest throughout Spain and is a major waterway around the region. As night begins to near, watch the lights of the city and the bridge illuminate the Guadaliquivir River as the soft pastel colors of the sunset intensify the sky. The best scenic view of the river, lights and sunset is from the Triana District where you can see the centre of the city of Sevilla and more of the surrounding night lights.
