There's no question that the West Coast of New Zealand is well known for rain, but it's the rain that helps keep the landscape vibrant and bursting with life. In the towns and cities however, as in any built up area, puddles collect on the wet pavement and add to the sense of dreary.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/40 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
