Las Vegas, otherwise known as Sin City, is one of the most popular holiday destinations in North American and people flock there from all over the world to see the lights, the shows, the grand hotels and experience the city in the desert that never sleeps. One of the best times to visit Las Vegas is before the peak summer months, when it is so hot that it may be uncomfortable to go outside. It is in the middle of a desert after all!

Our pictures of Las Vegas also show why it is known for its nightlife and its shopping. While on vacation here, visitors will want to take in at least one nightclub, just for the experience, and also take a tour around the shops and malls and check out the deals on offer. It can be ideal for couples who want to split up for a few hours, so one can go shopping and the other can try and make some money back in the casino!
