The village of Aguero, in Aragon is located about 28 miles to the northeast of Huesca and is molded into the base of the Mallos de Riglos. These gigantic red rock formations stand about 980 feet high and an estimated 3,300 feet above sea level. They tower over Aguero, Aragon and make the village appear even smaller than it actually is.The village of Aguero, Aragon is very unique and has a limited amount of attractions but most of the tourists that stop by Aguero come to see the Mallos de Riglos. This is a paradise for mountain climbers and nature lovers and in the village there is one economy hotel with ten rooms that offers a place to lay your head at night.A trip to the Mallos de Riglos is worth it to have a good look at these incredible rocks and enjoy a quiet lunch in the village of Aguero.
