After a patient wait, a brown bear catches a salmon while fishing at Katmai National Park in Alaska, USA. Dominant brown bears face off for prime fishing spots along the span of the famous Brooks Falls. Once in position, a bear will then stand almost motionless on the verge of the falls waiting for a salmon to literally jump into its hungry mouth. Thanks to the abundant runs of salmon in the Katmai National Park of Alaska, a brown bear will generally grow larger than a grizzly bear.
