Ammoudi is a small port located at the base of a volcanic crater at the foot of the village of Oia, Santorini. The beautiful clear colored water, small beach, local fishing boats and several small seafood restaurants attract tourists from all over the world.
You can get to Ammoudi by car though mines made of volcanic rock, walking, or on the back of a mule. If you are walking down the 200 or more steps to the port of Ammoudi you will definitely build up an appetite to try a gourmet meal at one of the fine restaurants.
