The Moorish Revival of architecture in Spain's history is an important time in the history of architecture there. The Central Building of Plaza de Espana is one of the most easily recognizable buildings in the city of Sevilla and in the whole of Spain as in 1929, the Spanish-American Exhibition was held here and these buildings were built especially for this purpose.
They run around the outside of the Plaza with a moat running in the middle, and most people now see the exhibition buildings by hiring a boat and sailing smoothly around the river while admiring the architecture. The buildings held the industry and technology exhibits of the exhibition.

... architecture was adopted in Europe and America, mostly in the nineteenth century, when a romantic fascination developed with all things related to the Orient. There were structures built in this style all over the world and these arches are a classic example of what this style of architecture included. Tourists can come from all over to see these arches in person, to witness this event in history.
