The mighty Humpback Whale, megaptera novaeangliae, is found in the North Altantic Ocean as well as the North Pacific Southern Hemisphere Oceans. Humpbacks are baleen feeding animals who filter the ocean waters for food such as krill and other small crustaceans, plankton, and small fish. This humpback whale was frolicking in the Altantic Ocean just off the coast of the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland, Canada.
