A few barren branches are the onset to what the forest will soon look like along the road to Rock Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. Most of the forest holds fast to its leaves that have changed into a spectacular blend of colors during the Autumn season.
A few of the leaves on these trees are still a bright green color but they too will eventually change with the season and become one with the others. The grass and vegetation along the forest floor is still rich in color and will take a bit longer than the trees to be overcome by the change in climate in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada.
Once these leaves begin to fall, the forest floor will be blanketed with amazing color and the trees will stand cold and naked throughout the forest. They will prepare themselves for the cold winter ahead and be ready to sprout new buds when spring time rolls around.
... is a beautiful time of year anywhere in the world, but nothing beats the stunning colors amongst the forest trees in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. If you are in the area of the park during this time of year, be sure to take the road that leads to Rock Lake and see how colorful the world can actually be. Algonquin Provincial Park is busy during the summer months, but the crowds never seem to dwindle until the leaves have fallen off the trees in Autumn.
