The houses in Morella, Valencia in Spain are usually tall and four or five stories high and the streets can be steep and narrow. Even though they sit high, there are very few balconies that do not have cheerful pots or planters full of colourful flowers and plants. Each house has a variety of flower displays on their balcony, making the village a beautiful place to look at while strolling the streets.
The people in the village of Morella are happy and friendly and although English is not regularly spoken, they will do their best to welcome visitors who are having trouble trying to converse in Spanish. There is much to see and enjoy in Morella, and a lot of walking to reach the castle and other sights, but the flowers and plants on the balconies are always there to brighten the day.
