A rose, genus of Rosa, has over 100 species and in many colors. The rose is a flower especially known for its beauty and fragrance. The rose oil is extracted from the flower for perfumes and colognes and the fragrance has been used for centuries.
Most roses are native to Asia, but also abundant with Europe, North America and northwest Africa just having a smaller number of species.
The rose species can be found in stems, shrubs, or climbing plants. Their stems are usually covered with sharp prickles.

The rose has a round edible fruit called a rose hip. This fruit, rose hip, is sometimes made into a jam or jelly, marmalade too. The rose hip is also full of Vitamin C.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/10.0, exposure time of 5/1 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 180mm.
