A rose, genus of Rosa, has over 100 species and in many colors. The rose is a flower especially known for its beauty and fragrance. The rose oil is extracted from the flower for perfumes and colognes and the fragrance has been used for centuries.
Most roses are native to Asia, but also abundant with Europe, North America and northwest Africa just having a smaller number of species.
The rose species can be found in stems, shrubs, or climbing plants. Their stems are usually covered with sharp prickles.

In Asia and the Middle East use rose water in their cuisine along with the French with their rose syrup.
The rose has a round edible fruit called a rose hip. This fruit, rose hip, is sometimes made into a jam or jelly, marmalade too. The rose hip is also full of Vitamin C.
