Deep in the heart of Parc de la Jacques-Cartier during fall, the hills and mountain slopes are carpeted in beautiful blazing scenery and colour alongside the Jacques-Cartier River in Quebec, Canada.
The beautiful Laurentian Mountain range is part of the Canadian Precambrian Shield and is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, situated in southern Quebec, Canada. Covering a large portion of the province of Quebec and encompassing Parc de la Jacques-Cartier which contains the Jacques-Cartier River and valley.
Through the seasons the river valley is clothed in a medley of colours from every shade of green in the summer to white in the winter. Fall is a particularly beautiful time of year to visit the park, when the mountain slopes are draped in glorious bold colours of gold, red, orange and green turning the scenery into a feast for the eyes.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/13.0, exposure time of 1/20 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 120mm.
