The St Mary's Riverside Campground located in the quaint town of Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia offers campsites right on the banks of the river - a great place to watch a stunning sunset during a quiet evening.
This "beat up" canoe provided the perfect foreground for the shot which also features beautiful cloud and sunset reflections on the surface of the St Mary's River. The golden rays even reached through a gap under the canoe to light up the small stones below it.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/16.0, exposure time of 3/10 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 24mm.
