The White Gazania may look more like a daisy than the other vibrantly coloured Gazania, but it is a charming little flower.
Each clump of Gazania is compact and has many flowers which bloom from autumn to spring in Oliva Nova, Valencia in Spain, and also intermittently during the summer. The Gazania loves the full sun, but will not open in cloudy weather. As night begins to fall, the petals of the Gazania flower begin to fold and hide the centre almost in a protective manner.
Alternatively known as the Treasure flower, the Gazania is a robust flower which hails from South Africa. It adjusts well to poor soils and drought conditions and never fails to produce its bright and beautiful flowers under these conditions.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/160 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 180mm.
