This cute beaver takes a break from collecting material to repair its lodge. Beavers typically eat leafy plants during spring and summer, and bark during the winter. They are nocturnal animals and are most active between sunset and sunrise.
Beavers are an important link to the survivial of mainy inhabitants of wetlands such as fish, frogs, ducks, and birds because the environment they create through the dams they build, cradles an abundance of life which many endangered or threatened species reply on for food sources.
