As these cute dogs lay around on the wooden boardwalk at the Rifflin'Hitch Lodge in Southern Labrador, Canada you can not get much closer than these two. Best friends is what these dogs have become as they spend a great deal of time together at their home in the wilderness of Southern Labrador.
The large black Newfoundland Dog is named Ella and she is a gentle and loving pet that is always around to welcome guests that come for a fishing vacation to the Rifflin'Hitch Lodge. A Newfoundland dog is a very loyal pet and at this fishing lodge, she has a vast amount of landscape to roam free.
Laying next to Ella, is a small brown dog named Maple who also resides at the Rifflin'Hitch Lodge in Southern Labrador. Her fur is maple in colour, except for the black coloring on her backside which is how her owners came about naming her.
... outdoors of Southern Labrador is the ideal location for these dogs and it did not take long for them to become best friends. The size difference of the two breeds is phenomenal, but as we all know, that does not make a difference when choosing your best friend.
Just as a lot of best friends do, these dogs dress the same and wear their red bandanas around their necks. People say that a man's best friend is his dog, but in this case, these two dogs have managed to make their own best friends.
