Stock photo of Bird Wings, of the Bald Eagle. The wingspan of the American Bald Eagle is wide for bird wings, at around 7 feet or 2.13 metres. The bird wings help to give the eagle great lift and ride the thermals, which they can do for quite some time. Immature eagles have extra long features to assist with stablizing while they are learning to fly.
