Bonaigua Pass in Catalonia, Spain in Europe is located 2,072 metres in the Pyrenees Mountain Range and cows as well as horses have a free range to roam. The Bonaigua Pass is filled with spectacular flowers, lush green grass and fresh air which makes it the ideal location for cows to wander.
These cows that are raised in the Bonaigua Pass in Catalonia, Spain are well adapted to the mountainous terrain as their hoofs are very tough allowing them to walk long distances. The coat of Bonaigua Pass cows is extremely resistant to the intense sun at this high altitude where they thrive on wild plants and grasses.
While traveling the Pyrenees Mountain Range and through the Bonaigua Pass you will see cows and horses scattered all over this incredibly beautiful countryside peacefully minding their own business. I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/200 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 100mm.
