Bonavista was discovered on behalf of England by a Venetian explorer by the name of Giovanni Caboto (John Cabot) on June 24, 1497. The town later became the most important in Newfoundland due to its close proximity to the rich fishing and sealing grounds off the coast of the peninsula.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/7.1, exposure time of 1/800 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 330mm.
