Photo: Bridge Walk People Crossing Venice Italy

On a lovely sunny day people are taking a walk over the bridge to cross one of the many side canals in Venice, Italy.

The many side canals in Venice, Italy need to be crossed by bridges as it is the only way for many people to get from one side to the other. There are 170 canals and about 400 bridges in Venice, although they are both really just the equivalent of the streets in a 'ordinary' town or city. Whether it is a lovely sunny day or stormy, the people of Venice have to take a bridge walk to get to the other side.

Venice, Veneto, Italy, Europe.
