The Brown Clipper Butterfly loves to perch on flowers, leaves or trees with their wings spread wide as they bask in the sunshine. The Brown Clipper Butterfly is found mainly in forested areas and is an extremely fast flier who soars with its wings flapping in a very small air space and then glides between spurts of flapping.
The Brown Clipper butterfly is a tan color on the hind wings and partial front wings with distinct black markings throughout both sets of wings. The underside on the hind wings and the front wings have white spots that add to the beautiful features of the Brown Clipper butterfly.
