A lone bumble bee rests on a Lavender spike in a field near Hamilton, New Zealand. There are three kinds of bumble bees - the larger Queen, the female worker, and the male drone. Unlike a honey bee the Bumble Bee is more gentle and slow moving.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS D60, aperture of f/3.5, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 70mm.
