Lago di Caldaro, Caldaro Lake, is said to be one of the warmest lakes in the Dolomite mountain range in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of the South Tyrol, Italy. The village of Caldaro is surrounded by vineyards and orchards and is famous for a unique wine created from Vernatsch grapes.The German name for Caldaro is Kaltern and the architecture of the village reflects the German/Italian combination of the area.
