One of the most popular destinations for tourists in Venice is the Piazza San Marco. Part of the main attraction are the three structures at the Piazza's eastern end - The Basilica San Marco, Doge's Palace and the St Mark's Campanile.
From the St Mark's Campanile, which towers above the Piazza San Marco at 98.5 metres, are stunning views of the Lagoon, and city. If weather conditions are right, a glimpse of the Alps is also possible.
