A canoe leads the way down the calm water of the Mersey River where the picturesque wilderness of Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia, Canada surrounds you. A few clouds drift by in the blue sky as the sun light reflects off the water and down one side of the river.Canoeing down the Mersey River is a beautiful way to spend a vacation while in Nova Scotia, where you can learn of the history behind the river. Once a major transportation route and the only way to get from one side of the river to the other, many logs, supplies and necessities were sent down this river in the early years. Now it is a peaceful place to explore while canoeing amongst the greenery.Paddling a canoe on the Mersey River in Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site of Canada, Kejimkujik Scenic Drive, Highway 8, Model Released.
