The coast of Southern Wairarapa is a lush green area on the North Island of New Zealand and Cape Palliser is one stunning location where the water slaps against the rugged shores. This coast has some of the most beautiful scenery on the North Island especially on evenings when the sunset turns the thin clouds into fascinating hues.
You can walk along the coast of Cape Palliser, New Zealand and view the breeding colony of fur seals that reside here. The seals lounge around on the rocks and banks as the water splashes against the gigantic rocks of the Cape Palliser coast and leaves a fine mist above the water's surface.
Cape Palliser, New Zealand is known for the Maori and European history along this windy coast which can take you up two hundred stairs to the Cape Palliser Lighthouse.
