Since 1897, the Cape Palliser Lighthouse has stood along the coastal shore of Wairarapa on the North Island of New Zealand guiding vessels through strong and dangerous currents. The lighthouse has been seen in many photographs, but none are as picturesque as at sunset when the sky is enhanced in array of hues as clouds swirl above.Cape Palliser Lighthouse and Rocky Point, Cape Palliser, Wairarapa, North Island, New Zealand.
