A pristine west coast beach which is accessible by road - albeit rough. Once at the end of the road it's simply a short stroll to the pebbly beach of Cape Palmerston with views along the rugged west coast.Looking out to the Pacific Ocean turn to the left and either climb over the jagged rocks along the coast at low tide or take the inland track a few bays over. Eventually a large rocky outcrop comes into sight as well as a quaint emergency cabin with stunning views of the west coast of Vancouver Island. The Cape Palmerston Recreation Site features a camp site and of course the hiking trail.
