The dark large cave called Cathedral Cave in Akaroa Harbour on the South Island of New Zealand sits below huge massive cliffs. This cave has been carved out over many years by the turquoise sea water that swells inside Cathedral Cave. Atop the cliffs that hang over Cathedral Cave in Akaroa Habour, is where you can view various bird species that sit and explore the vast waters of the sea. Inside you can see the different layers created from various volcanic eruptions and the fascinating wonders of mother nature.
