Nature is a wonderful thing and until you walk through the paths and trails at Cathedral Grove on Vancouver Island, you do not realize how beautiful trees can be. Exceptionally large trees are found throughout Cathedral Grove that are hundreds of years old and considered to be the oldest and tallest in British Columbia.Standing next to one of these trees where the branches tower above you, makes one realize how meek and mild people are compared to the wonders of nature. The forest is breathtaking on a sunny afternoon after a morning rain as water drops sparkle off the moss and plants.Thousands of people travel to Cathedral Grove in MacMillan Provincial Park on Vancouver Island annually to see the beauty of the forest.
