The weather is cold as the crowds of people that make the Christmas markets part of their yearly tradition, are adorned in touques and warm coats. The blue sky above makes for a pleasant day of shopping taking away some of the winter chill. The incredible backdrop in this picture is fabulous as not only do you feel the spirit of the season around the Romerplatz, but the architecture of the buildings is a great distraction from the hustle and bustle of the shopping frenzy.
Each of the market stalls at the Christmas markets has some sort of lit decorations or display for the yearly tradition of the holidays. During the daytime, the lights do not glow nearly as much which takes away from the aura that fills the Romerplatz in Frankfurt, Hessen in Germany during the evening hours.
