As we toured the small town of Pukeuri, New Zealand around the Christmas Season we came across this beautifully decorated house adorned with holiday spirit and traditions. It is one of the many traditions that this family has at Christmas time and brings smiles to thousands of passing tourists that visit Pukeuri, Otago in New Zealand.Many people decorate their homes at Christmas but this particular one was stunning. Thousands of tiny lights are put up each year in this area of New Zealand which is a small part of the traditions that the town of Pukeuri enjoys.A wander through this garden of twinkling Christmas lights makes one realize how important the holiday season is. Each family has their own traditions at Christmas and this house shows how much holiday spirit that New Zealand has to offer.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 20/1 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 24mm.
