Stock photo of one of the many Churches in newfoundland. Our Lady of Mercy Church was designed in 1912 and is the largest wooden church in Newfoundland capable of seating 1000. Construction of the church spanned 11 years and was the work of many able bodied men and youth who were residents of the area. Like many churches, Our Lady of Mercy has become a Registered Heritage Structure.
