This is the newest building that houses the Circa Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand and has been operating at this site since 1994. The first show that was seen at the new Circa Theatre was Angels in America which had won numerous amounts of awards for its presentation.Prior to this building being opened, the Circa Theatre was situated elsewhere and first opened in 1976. It soon became known as one of the liveliest theatres throughout New Zealand and people from all over would come here to see one of the productions.There are two theatres at the Circa as well as a licensed restaurant and bar. One of the theatres will present professional shows while the other one lets people experience the distinct, contemporary and personal theatre shows.Wellington, New Zealand is a community that loves the theatre and the Circa is not the only one where shows are put on in town.
