At one time, there was no such thing as washers and dryers and everywhere you went you would see clothes hanging on a clothesline in people's backyards. In Conche, Newfoundland, a lot of the residents love to hang out their wet clothes on the clothesline as they tend to have a much fresher smell to them when dry.On a nice summer day in Conche, Newfoundland people find their clothes dry much faster and the electricity bill also goes way down.Nowadays, some people throughout the world say that hanging your laundry on a clothesline is offensive and should not be allowed. You would think that these people have more important issues to deal with than worrying about a few clothes hanging on a clothesline.
