A single tree stands out against a vast amount of sky in the glorious sunshine of the Tuscany region of Italy. The lush green of the grass is in stark contrast to the bright blue of the sky and white cloud formations in the sky above.

On the way to the town of Pienza in Tuscany, a visitor might take this small dirt road and come across this single tree, growing all by itself, tall and proud as part of the lush green vegetation that makes up the gorgeous Tuscany countryside, that people come from miles around to enjoy and experience. While many of the trees that can be found in the Tuscany are Cypress trees, there are other beautiful trees which dot the landscape and offer shade from the sun or a subject to photograph with puffy white clouds lingering above.
