Another cute encounter during one of my wildlife photo tours off the British Columbia coast. We watched this Grizzly bear right beside our small boat diving, swimming and fishing in Glendale River. We didn't see too much salmon that year so the bears had to try a bit harder to get their bellies filled. The coastal grizzly bears of British Columbia are smaller than the coastal bears up in Alaska.
While Glendale Cove is for sure one of the best spots to watch grizzly bears in British Columbia, we also check out other places on my photo tour and often we find mom's with cubs in other areas as they often trying to get away from the bog male bears.
Here you can find some more photos and infos about Rolf Hicker's wildlife & scenery photo tours along the beautiful British Columbia coast.
