Many times during whale watching season off Northern Vancouver Island in BC, a Killer Whale will linger around the coastal shores in search of food. As this Killer Whale surfaces, the calmness of the water and air allow the mist from its blowhole to hang in mid air until it dissipates.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/400 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 370mm.
