The town of Colac Bay in southland, NZ is a cozy little community which hugs the shores of the bay overlooking Foveaux Strait. In keeping with its popularity for surfing, it features a landmark sculpture of a surfer which is popular with the tourists.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/800 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 50mm.
