Blanketed by a haze, the village of Corniglia sits atop the cliff with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea in the Cinque Terre in Liguria, Italy.

On the very top of a cliff, sits the village of Corniglia, one of the five that make up the Cinque Terre in Liguria, Italy. A lingering haze over the Mediterranean Sea is blocking out the full intensity of the sun making the village appear to have a mystical aura about it.This village is the smallest of the five in the Cinque Terre and the only one that can not be reached by boat. It sits about 300 feet above the sea and once you disembark the train at the Corniglia village station, you must still walk up the 300 feet. The trek up to the village of Corniglia is not an easy one, but once you reach the top an incredible feeling takes over.
