There are many pristine bays along the Costa Brava where luxury power boat owners can anchor and enjoy bathing in the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Costa Brava stretches from the border of France and Spain to the south for some 200 kilometers (125 miles) to the port of Blanes.
Translated from Spanish to English, Costa Brava means wild coast. It is a rugged paradise for sun lovers and has been a popular tourist destination since the 1950's. Although much of the coastline has been transformed and divided into busy tourist resort towns, there are still some remote and unspoilt areas for those visitors interested in more than just sun and sand.
The Costa Brava is situated in the Northeastern region of Catalonia in Spain.
