A line up of cruise ships at the Ketchikan Cruise Ship terminal. As this stock photo shows, cruising to Alaska is a popular option for many travellers. At the height of the cruise season small towns like Ketchikan explode with tourists as the ships pull in. In this photo you can see three cruise ships, however, there were as many as five of these floating palaces docked at the terminal plus others anchored in the harbour. The ports in the Inside Passage are popular cruise destinations.
