The marina along the coastline of the town of Digby in the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia is an area large enough for yachts to easily dock for the night. The colorful boats in this part of the marina that are tied up to the dock are fishing boats that the locals from the town of Digby use on their daily fishing excursions.Digby, Nova Scotia has been an active fishing town for many years and to this day it brings in a good income for the local residents. Lumber is another source of income for Digby, but fishing and tourism are the main two.Fishermen bring in loads of scallops which are some of the best in Nova Scotia and that is why Digby is known as the "Scallop Capital of the World". Everything around the marina such as restaurants, stores and hotels are within walking distance which visitors to Digby love.The population of Digby, Nova Scotia is only around 2,300 hundred so there is plenty of room at the marina for any guests.
