A Dolphin jumps far up in the air beside a whale watching boat off Northern Vancouver Island. Pacific White sided Dolphins can be seen year round, but mostly they are seen in large grougs in fall around September and Oktober. This dolphin jumped right beside our whale watching boat and was probably about 2 Meters above the Waterline. This Dolphin sure enjoyed it. Lagenorhynchus obliquidens

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/6.3, exposure time of 1/400 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 100mm.
