Not all marine mammals are this talented, but the Bottlenose Dolphins at the L'Oceanografic at the City of Arts and Science in Valencia, Spain have mastered the balancing act. A trainer places one foot on each of the dolphin's nose and stands upright with the Bottlenose Dolphins keeping steady in one place.
The trainer must also remain as still as she can while balancing on the tips of the noses on the Bottlenose Dolphins. This particular act is something that is harder for the trainer than it is for the dolphins, but they all must work together as a team to make this a success.
Trust is the main issue in this balancing act, as well as hours of practice. If there is no trust between the dolphins and the trainer, this part of the show would never be possible.
