The only way to get around downtown Vienna, Austria and really enjoy all the fascinating things there are to see, is to board one of the horse buggy rides and let the coachman do the driving. These coachmen know the way around Vienna and have a world of knowledge on all the sights such as the Stephansdom Cathedral that sits in the background of this picture.
The Stephansdom is one of the famous landmarks in Vienna, Austria and each one of the horse buggy rides will take you around this cathedral. Other interesting places to see is the Albertina Museum which is where a lot of the horse buggy rides depart from, the Peterskirche, the Parliament, Opera House and the City Hall are just a short list of stops along the way.

Summer horse and buggy rides are amazing around downtown Vienna and even when winter approaches, dressing appropriately makes these rides enjoyable. The entire area of downtown Vienna, Austria covers a fair bit of area which can be confusing if trying to drive and a lot of the prominent features are missed. By far, horse and buggy rides are the best form of transportation when touring Vienna.
