Underground tours are available, where visitors wear a miner's hat to venture through the tunnels where mining techniques were practiced regularly in the 1900's.Going to 300 meters below the surface of the earth in a glass enclosed elevator, visitors to Dynamic Earth can try to dig for their own nickel and view the equipment which miners used from the late 1800's into the 1950's.
