Stock photo of an Eagle Head. The distinctive white eagle head and tail of the mature bird is developed at 5 years of age. The Eagle Head also has a sharp beak which has a hook at the end and is used for tearing at food or delicately feeding its young and grooming its mate. The Eagles eyes are extremely sharp and can spot a potential food source from as far away as 1 mile or 1.6 kilometres.
