Another hidden gem on Vancouver Island is beautiful Goldstream Provincial Park just north of Victoria. During fall the leaves in this beautiful rain forest turn to stunning shades of golds and the moss is a vibrant green along the river edge.
Goldstream Provincial Park is an old-growth temperate rain forest which features numerous trails which traverse the two very distinct vegetation zones of the park. The river which meanders through the park is prime spawning grounds for chum salmon.
